This is the continuing saga of the friends who are looking to revamp their digital printing / mailing business by dropping the mail part and concentrating on the digital printing and design piece.
The process included renaming the business and creating a new logo that would represent an established neighborhood option for local businesses. After settling (or so I thought) on a name, I created a logo that I feel represents who they are. I did not use any traditional printing icons because they do not do offset. After experimenting with numerous type styles, I created a modified typeface that had a blend of modern and traditional. Plus, I like that the O's resemble the rollers in a digital print machine.
Unfortunately they are still undecided about the name so the project continues.
