The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra is a local music ensemble serving the greater Maple Valley and Kent area. The non-profit organization consists of a Symphony Orchestra, Junior Symphony Orchestra, Ensembles, training levels and a special needs program. I have had the opportunity to create their marketing materials for them on a pro bono basis. I enjoy working with the conductor and staff to create posters that reflect the upcoming performance
These are screenshots of the new Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra web site. The old site was rigid, crammed with information, and very red. Using their Homestead web builder software, I created a scrolling, responsive site with rich grays, blues, and khaki. Each aspect of the organization now has it's own page which makes it easier to use. The end result is a sophisticated site that showcases the students, teachers, and organization. The response from the community has been overwhelming resulting in more participation and attendance. You can view the site at mvyso.org.
